The issue here appears to be "the value of your word."
If common sense does not prevail you could expect further action. Our recommendation is to anticipate this and consult an attorney......or at the very least, make your broker aware of this situation, which very likely could involve him/her. - A few hours ago

These are difficult times for established agents and seasoned companies. FSBO's are feeling the heat as well because their "thunder" has been swept away by "short sales" and "foreclosure" activity.
To compete in this market FSBO's need to be willing to price their property relative to current market trends.....something most are unaware of or reluctant to accept. - A few hours ago

Jody,
If a "degree of difficulty" were associated with the three major real estate transactions it might look something like this............
1. traditional sale...................easily done under normal circumstances
2. foreclosure............also relatively easy, but dealing with a bank can be unusual and entertaining
3. short sale..........very, very difficult, insensitive, time consuming, frustrating, difficult and often worthy of considering other options. There can be relatively smooth S.S. transactions.......however, this is not the norm but the exception..... - A few hours ago

Visibility is the name of the game......we just went through a major clean out in the Sarasota area and had some difficulty finding someone to do a "clean out."
The Yellow Pages revealed cleaning services, deep cleaning, salvage, etc. The greater your visibility, the more activity you can plan on having....consider the telephone book, promoting your business through real estate companies, or any other entity associated with the business.
