My husband and I along with our one year old daughter are moving to Colorado, We have friends that live in Centennial and we like it there, but don't know much about the area. we are looking to buy a home in the $180k price range, any nice areas anyone could suggest with younger families and good school districts?

Hi Esra,
I grew up work and live in the area you are moving to and have buckets of information for you. If I could move any one place myself, it would be to Orange County...maybe we can swap homes! If you go to my blogs, I have a few neighborhood profiles you can look at, and if you send me an e-mail address, I can send you a relocation guide that will be a great starting point for you. All the best!

Esra,

Centennial actually stretches across Denver Metro area. If you look at Denver as a square area with 4 quadrants, Centennial would be in the lower sections Southwest and Southeast quadrants. The city of centennial would geographically sort of look like a Barbell.

If you are talking about the Southeast section of Centennial, then you are talking about Cherry Creek School Districts. It is consider either number 1 or number 2 out of about 7 school districts in the Denver Metro Area.

Some neighborhood names that come to mind are: Mission Viejo, Summer Valley, Pheasant Run, Smoky Hill, East Quincy Highlands, Fox Hill, Hampden Hills, Highpoint, Mesa, Parkborough and more.

Esra, there are of course other considerations to take into account. Feel free to contact me for more information at my website, You can also click on my website to find mls listings.

Have a great day

Bill
