It's easy to check out the inventory in any area. Go to Realtor.com, Trulia.com, Zillow.com, Craig's List, Homes.com or any of several other online data bases and do a search for Auburn, AL. This should pull up a listing of the properties in the area and most sites allow you to specify a price range, etc. Or for a search that is specific to the Lee County area (Auburn) , go to http://board.usamls.net/lee/default.asp?content=search&m
Once you've looked over the available properties and found some that interest you, you should contact a local REALTOR to see them. Any REALTOR can give you a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) for properties that interest you. I would be most happy to provide this information for you by e-mail if you'll provide an e-mail address. There is a weekly publication called Homeseeker which is published each Friday that gives some market information comparing 2008 & 2009, as well as ads from various realty companies. I'd be happy to mail you a copy of this, if you wish, but you'll need to contact me to give me your mailing address. All REALTORS in our area are anxious to help buyers and I'm no exception. I love the Auburn area and want to welcome anyone to the area. It's a great place to live and work . If you haven't done so already, you may want to visit the area and look around. I'll be happy to provide info on what's available in the area other than real estate, send you maps, etc. Let me know what you'd like to receive. The housing market is good in Auburn but prices are lower than a couple of years ago and homes are moving more slowly. Two or three years ago, many homes sold almost as soon as they came on the market. This is not as true today--depending on price range--with most higher priced homes staying on the market a little longer than in the past. Condos and townhomes are moving more slowly as well. There are plenty of properties from which to choose in most price ranges and types. Check this out on any of the sites that I mentioned. Feel free to contact me personally for any help that you need.
