The home may have been foreclosed on.
My staff should be able to get this information for you with out a problem. If you need help on this matter please contact my web address http://www.ColdwellBankerLegacy.com/Mark.Wingert or Mark.Wingret@ColdwellBankerLegacy.com
Since New Mexico is a Non Disclosure state, we have to contact the jusrisdiction which the property is located and the information you obtained may be all the jurisdiction will release at this point. Even then, we may not find the information because there may have been no will designating where the estate proceeds were to go upon death. If the property is mortagaged, it will go through a judicial foreclosure process (in absence of will) which would take at least 3 months if not more. I can contact a title company and see if I can find out more info for you. Would you be interested?

If the property has a Mortgage on it there should be a Lien filed with the county. If you would like some help with this we may be able to track this down, depending on the situation. My contact is tego@welcomehomeabq.com or 505-263-0556. http://www.welcomehomeabq.com
The home may be in probate court if the homeowner did not have a will.
