Where should I start my search?
I’m a single professional male in my 30’s… And I’m relocating to Flagstaff for a new position.
I’m looking to rent a house or condo for a year….$1400 – $1800 range..then buy a home in that area.
I need an honest opinion on what neighborhoods or zip codes I should start my search?
Safe, clean, downtown or near the downtown and away from the college kids.

As for neighborhoods close to downtown but away from the college kids? Honestly, you are going to have to take a look at the properties and determine that for yourself. Flagstaff is small so "close" to downtown is very relative.
