Seller filed bankruptcy! Does anyone know what happens to a offer on a short sale when the seller suddenly?

Greetings,
You don't know if the house is included in the bankruptcy. If it is the Judge is the "Man", whatever he says goes.

All you can do is fall in love with another house. You were not guaranteed that the lender would have accepted your short-sale anyway unless you've already received an acceptance. If it was just in the works then it was just in the works.
