Hi Gary, Insurance can be a "problem" in Florida as insurance companies will only insure so many homes in a given area so that if a storm, etc, hits a particular area the insurance company isn't "wiped out". But, that being said we do have many companies to choose from it just depends which are at saturation point in The Villages and which have openings. Usually yearly premiums average $1100-$1200 . If I can be of further help please let me know. Are you planning to purchase something in the future. And, have you established yourself with a Realtor yet? Two types of agents cover The Villages, Realtors members of the National Association of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service and The Villages sales agent who work directly for and on behalf of The Villages. Looking forward to meeting you. Lavae Dierker 352-205-3473
