We're looking at a house on Ackerman between Orchard Place and Prospect Street and were wondering if it's child friendly due to traffic. Is it okay or is the traffic too much? We tried to watch the traffic flow, but it was hard to tell. I wouldn't let the kids play in front of the house, but I also don't want to isolate them. I'd really appreciate it if someone with children or who knows someone with children on the street could let us know how it affects their children's social life. Any advice is welcome and greatly appreciated though.
Thank you
I have lived in a rented house on Prospect street and I can tell you I wouldnt buy on Ackerman because of the traffic. If I could afford ,I will move to a quieter location . Thekids wont be isolated, believe me, with the park and school friends .
why not move ito a cul-de-sac off ackerman in the dead end of Wortendyke we are selling for $896,900.00
we hav 3 kids - they love it . It's very privat and quiet -- absolutely no traffic at all - land all around the house. Lots of space for the kids to play and grow. Call Jay 201-576-9632 for a private showing. Feel free to pass by it's 37 Demarest Avenue , Emerson, NJ 07630 in the dead end of Wortendyke Ave.
JLFMD01@aol.com It's a magnificent 5 bedroom 4 bathroom colonial with a 21 foot high great room ---- all the amenities!!
During the week that's a moderate to high traffic road, but on the weekends it sees lighter traffic. The road is heavily patrolled by police though.
