What part of Florida are you going to look at??? South Florida has been hurt more by the downswing of home prices and short sales are more abundant there. I suspect brokers would be more willing to negotiate their commissions there than north florida. I have not heard of this happening in Florida but that is not to say it is not going on. Thank you for asking, There were companies that gave a rebate, however some of the regulations have changed, Rebate is one of them, how ever you can still ask for seller subsidy, which may be more like 3% of the contract amount

While you may find some in that area, this business model has quickly been fading. I don't know of ANY in my area that are left. Good luck.
