Regarding condos. Katy's got the numbers right on. Specific areas include Indian Creek Condominiums in Tumwater with current active listings ranging from 99k to 124k. This community has a $185/month HOA fee but boasts community center with exercise, spa and rec room plus pool.

Another great quiet community is off Trosper Rd in Tumwater, Barnes Lake Condos and adjacent Kobuk units don't get the pool and rec center but do have a lower monthly fee of $125k. And they are convenient to Mega Foods, Fred Meyer, Costo and Safeway.

There are many others scattered around the area. These mentioned currently have both ground floor and second floor units ready for occupancy.
