There are just too many communities in the DFW area to give you an answer and well as too much unknown. Do you know where you will be commuting to? What is a "deal" to you? 150K? 300K ? 500K?

Dallas/Ft Worth covers such a large area and we are fortunate to have numerous golf course communities throughout the city. I have a few questions, is there a particular part of the city that you need to be near and do you want a golf course view or to just live in a golf course community?

One of the best deal I know of personally is about 369k on the Shores golf course in Rockwall, 3800 sqft, onthe 10th tea box with lakeviews, only 25 minutes east of Dallas. If you get out in to the outskirts you are going to find much more affordable homes.
