I am proud that my daughter and son both graduated from Mount. I felt they received a great education and were prepared very well for college. My daughter got into several ivies and my son went to a very selective college. The honors courses were very challenging and the school continues to add AP Courses.
... Read more I thought the teachers really cared about the students and made an effort to know them personally and encouraged them to make the most of their abilities. In addition to the academics, there were many extracurricular activities available to choose from including all types of sports (especially hockey) to Drama club and various bands, even at the junior high level. I also was impressed by the students' participation and commitment to community service. My children learned the importance of helping and caring for others less fortunate. Absolutely amazing school...my child loves it. He has never had any problem getting extra help, and has been shocked by the huge number of extra-curricular activities that he's had offered to him.

No, I did not have a good tenure at Mount but I can attest that hockey players did not receive unfair treatment. I played 4 years of mount hockey and now attend a Div. 1 Hockey school.. I failed off the team twice and received no help to get back on. The only thing i credit Mount to was opening my eyes

I have been employed at Mount for over 32 years. It is a happy and healthy place for kids to grow up. Our academics are challenging, and our teachers are both professional and caring. For most of us who work here, it is not just a job but a ministry.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
