... Read more excellent AP classes he took, he received enough college credit to allow him to double major and graduate a semester early. CHS offers an abundance of extra-curricular activites in nearly every discipline imaginable. Dedicated teachers go above and beyond to make many of these activities rewarding experiences for our students. Beyond sports, our kids get excited to be involved in various community events, charitable fundraising activities, cultural offerings, performance opportunities and academic/educational competitions. CHS and it students regularly receive recognition through state and national awards in academic areas and the arts. Read less

All 3 of my children attended Cranford High School. I found there educational standards to be exceptional and well suited to each child's individual needs. The teacher exhibit various teaching methods some more enjoyable to the children then others but all in all highly competent. The school's staff

CHS is an excellent school. Academically, there is a wide variety of options. From standard to honors to AP, CHS makes sure every child fits where they are intended to. There are great programs for all types of students, and those students who are interested in something not available are able to begin

Cranford High School offers many different programs for the students. There is the opportunity to be involved in art, sports, music, and other activities, yet they are only as good as the teachers who teach them. * In 2007-2008 New Jersey used the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) to test students in grade 11 in language arts literacy, math and science. The HSPA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of New Jersey. Students are required to pass the HSPA in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

Advanced Placement

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
