This is a great school. Once you get past freshman year, you have hundreds of class choices at all different levels. The teachers are for the most part very into their jobs. Another plus is that their is so much money in the district that there is a great new building, very smart teachers, and a ton

The only downside was that the rules are too strict, and don't allow for teenagers to grow up and have any responsibilities. Students are treated like they are 12 years old, even if they're in 12th grade, which is a big bummer. College will be a shock for many students going to Wachusett, not having to take tests home for mom to sign and all.... Read less

The school is getting more and more ridiculous. The House System is just a way to separate friends and irritate everyone. I honestly don't see the point in the house system and I don't see the point in the whole 'bus pass' thing. Previous people that commented on the teachers must not have had the teachers

Well my biology teacher doesn't help us all the time when we don't understand something he will say, 'oh this stuff is easy, you understand it,' and walk away. I heard some other teachers are really poor too. The high school requirements are insane.. I'm in project adventure, which is a required class, and I'm terrified of heights, if you don't climb you get a zero. Read less

I graduated from WRHS in 2004 and I am completely satisfied with the education that I got there. The majority of the teachers love to teach and also care about the students. WRHS is an extremely cramped and outdated building. I feel that the Superintendent delayed the improvements just long enough to get his own way. Unfortunately, the tax payers, teachers, and students all suffered in the meanwhile. If a parent does not stay on top of his/her child's academic progress,

My son attends Wachusett and really likes it. There are so many extra curricular activites for everyone. However, the school's absent policy could use some work. They make such a big deal of how many days the students miss from school, to the point where they're going to school sick. Then they wonder
