After recieving services from this college did my grades go up. It was the first time in my years in school to get good grade. I graduated with High Honors. I believe that Tahanto is NOT a good enviroment for students that have learning issues becasue they get pushed to the back of the class and forgotten. (There were a few good teachers) Read less

... Read more the biggest problem lies. The small school atmosphere fosters special relationships between teachers and students which can be beneficial but also detrimental. The good aspect, you aren't a number on the attendance sheet; teachers are willing to help each individual to succeed. The bad aspect, I have observed many cases of extreme bias and even grade inflation for those who are on teachers 'good sides'. The worst part that goes unseen, is the unsafe activities practiced by the majority of student both during and after school hours. Read less

There's times when I would rather be anywhere else than this school, the building is falling apart, the basement until recentlly was like a cave from a horror film. Yet, it is all these qualities that make the enviroment so much more enjoyable! Not only are the teachers brilliant, witty and animated,

Yeah, the town doesn't have that much money to fund programs, but the students and teachers work together to bring new and safe activities to the grounds in order to make up for sometimes a poor quality building. * In 2007-2008 Massachusetts used the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) to test students in grades 3 though 8 and 10 in English language arts and math, and in grades 5 and 8 in science. Advanced Placement

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
