This school is not only a great community but a family and it is a wonderful place to grow up. I know, i did. I am currently attending red rock in my junior year but due to economic-related struggles, will be moving to the greater metropolatin phoenix area. I am not excited as no other public school can match the excellence of red rock. Read less

This school has everything! Innovative academics (like Humanities), lots of AP choices these days, sports, art, photography, digital media, drama, and new career options (like hotel and restaurant management). The teachers and administrators work really hard for the kids, and the kids seem to appreciate

Sedona Red Rock High is not a good school.Every one of my siblings and I went there. I did not have a pleasant experience there. The teachers are mediocre at best. For living in such a wealthy community almost no money is donated to extra-curricular/after school programs.

Science and Math classes are challenging even for a 4.0 student. The teachers are communicative and available. Sports coaches are knowledgeable, motivating, and fair. Principal and VP are caring, and know the kids. Yes, there are some fights/roughhousing at school, but they deal with it. Overall safe

I have taught at this school part-time for 4 years and my son attended it for all 4 years of high school. It is a wonderful, excellent school with about 90% of the students going on to college. The school is intimate with a total of less than 500 students. The teachers are all extremely dedicated. Students
... Read more will know how to write when they come out of Red Rock! The students get along extemely well, and there is absolutely no bullying, teasing or fighting. This is a safe school in a beautiful area where one will receive an excellent education. I couldn't recommend it any higher. Read less

SRRHS feels like a private school in terms of quality, committed staff and the presentation of class material being individualized to the student. It is student centered as oppossed to being focused on a disgruntled staff, like so many public schools these days. We love this school.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
