The worst two years of my life. With very few exceptions, the teachers don't care about their work or students. The school is over crowded. The teachers and students don't like the administration and it shows. Do your child a favor and find a different school.

My daughter currently goes to PHS and this is the most horrible school she has ever gone to. Majority of the staff in the front office are way to condensidning, and do NOT listen to what the parent or student has to say. The school is way to tiny for all of the students. and its trashy. You walk onto

I've had two kids graduate from PHS, and overall, it was a good experience. They received numerous scholarships and both tested around 1500 on the SATs. As always, there are good and bad teachers, but that is just like the world they're entering. I do feel there is a need for a change in the principal.

The only bad thing about this school is the size of the student body. This campus was not made to support the 2,000+ students it's supposed to. Because of the size, it is a bit messier than most other 'normal' sized schools. The teachers are mostly very supportive, but (again, because of the size) the

Prescott High School is horrible. They have very poor leadership, and that poor quality trickles down to having a poor morale in the students. Saying they enforce discipline and dress code is a joke. The school grounds are filthy, and trying to get information from anyone on staff there is difficult.
... Read more The high school needs lessons on teaching character, discipline and self-control. My daughter attended there for 5 months, as a result we saw in her a teen mentality that resounds at PHS; 'so what, nobody will do anything, we wont get caught...' We pulled her out of there, and will not recommend anyone putting their kids in the PUSD. I would never recommend a parent to send their child there. The only good person my daughter experienced was Biology teacher, Dr. Winslow. Read less

Does not have adequate sports teams or intramural sports available given the number of students attending the school. Too many students not enough sports opportunities. This school seems to have failed to develop an athletic program to meet the needs of the student body. This school is also very overcrowded.
