Candi,
after ready your question, I was curious to see if through the military branch of your husband you can qualify for relocation benefits?
I am with Coldwell Banker and part of the relocation team and we constantly help military families with their real estate needs.
The other advantage to be listed with Coldwell Banker is that we have a very heavy marketing plan we are using locally and nationally with different media and that’s why we are constantly ranked #1 for sale in the treasure valley. We also have performance standards which results for our customers in the highest production per agent in the valley.
I totally understand your situation as my husband was in the marines, we have moved a lot and I am now licensed in 3 states.
You have to review how your contract is spelled out with your property management, sometimes they will not allow you to have the property for sale while rented (read your contract carefully).
It has been listed for 6 months now, so how many price adjustments have you done so far?
How strong was the market analysis your realtor offered you?
What is your realtor actually doing to get your home sold? Does he or she have a detailed action plan?
If you are looking for results, feel free to contact me when you are no longer listed with your current realtor or when your contract runs out.
I have several examples of properties I have successfully sold fast, even in this market!
Have a great day!! - Wed Jun 17 2009, 21:29
